The smartwatch market is still dominated by the Apple Watch in Q3 2022 according to the latest Counterpoint Research report. In the last quarter, Apple Watch held 50.6% followed by Samsung (22.3%), Amazfit (7.1%), Huawei (6.4%) and Garmin (4.5%).
In the health tracker watch category, Noise holds the highest percentage of 25.2% followed by Firebolt (24.6%), Boat (16.8%), Xiaomi (4.2%) and Huawei (3.2%). This market which used to be dominated by Xiaomi is now changing with the entry of products from India.
The production of smart watches grew 30% compared to the same quarter last year. India recorded the biggest growth with a 171% increase compared to the same quarter last year. Only the Chinese and European markets did not show positive developments. In China, for example, the market shrank by 21% due to various pandemic restrictions imposed by the government.
