Xiaomi's new product launch on December 1 will also see updates for its wearable devices. Through it, the Xiaomi Watch S2 will be announced as a continuation of the previous Xiaomi Watch S1 with various more interesting updates.
Among them, it appears fresher with an elegant design in addition to streamlined elements that are more modern. It can be said that it is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Watch5. The round-shaped frame is still retained, but no more rotary knobs are included. Instead the two physical buttons are now thinner for overall control of the watch.
The whole body also looks premium as if it is made of stainless metal material with matching leather watch strap and standard hook. But it is also expected to be offered in a silicone strap option to facilitate use during exercise or relaxation. The strap of this watch is also expected to be interchangeable as needed.
Not much information about the internal specifications is known at the moment. However, Lei Jun who is the CEO of Xiaomi confirmed that this watch will be available in two size options - which consists of 42mm and 46mm. At the same time, it is also expected to be marketed with a price range of around RMB999 (~RM627) per thread.
