Here's the Geekbench Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Score on Xiaomi 12 Pro

The Xiaomi 12 line, including the 12 Pro, will only be released on December 28. But now the benchmark scores for phones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 have spread. How much?

The benchmark test in question is Geekbench, and the Xiaomi 12 Pro appears with the model number 2201122C. The use of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 does not appear clearly, but it is assumed because it has the same core scheme as Qualcomm's flagship SoC.

The core scheme is four 1.79GHz cores, three 2.5GHz cores, and one 3GHz core. The score obtained is 1224 for single core and 3823 for multi core, as quoted by us from Phone Arena, Friday (12/24/2021).

This score is almost similar to the score Qualcomm posted using their reference device, which is 1235 for single core and 3837 for multi core on Geekbench.

When compared to several other SoCs, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 does have a higher score than other SoCs for Android devices. For example, when compared to Snapdragon 888, the single-core score is around 1100 and the multi-core score is around 3500.

The score is also much higher than the Google Tensor used in the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, where the single-core score is only 1040 and the multi-core score is 2830.

However, when compared to the A series SoC used on the iPhone, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 score is even lower (for single cores) compared to the A13 Bionic used by the iPhone 11, which has a single core score of 1330. However, for multi-core, the A13 Bionic is indeed inferior, because the score is only 3440.

However, the A13 Bionic is the SoC used in the iPhone two generations back. Meanwhile, when compared to the A14 Bionic (iPhone 12) and A15 Bionic (iPhone 13), the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 score is far behind.

A14 Bionic and A15 Bionic, respectively, had single core scores of 1600 and 1730, while their multi-core scores were 4300 and 4700.

The following is a list of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 specifications and features:
