"From the results of the CNCERT/CC monitoring, it was found that since the end of February, the internet network in China has been continuously receiving cyber attacks from abroad. The attacking group took over computers here to attack Russia, Ukraine and Belarus," explained the team. .

"After analysis, most of the origins of the attackers came from the United States," he added, adding that the attacks came from Germany and the Netherlands.

Cyber attacks have been a major issue between the United States and China for some time. The reason is the US government accuses China of carrying out cyber-espionage to steal important data from the US.

However, China claims that they did not carry out any cyber attacks at all and the US statement is called a humiliating accusation.

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, cyberspace has also been colored by various attacks on both Ukraine and Russia. The Russian government is accused of carrying out a DDoS attack that toppled a number of government and corporate websites in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russia has been inundated with cyber attacks, one of which is from the hacker group Anonymous, whose effects have varied. From the collapse of important Russian sites, to hijacking news TV stations in the country.
