In its latest form of support to help Ukraine in conflict with Russia, Google made a donation on the Play Store.
This donation is available for Android users on the main page of the Google Play Store this week. In the form of a highlight that reads 'Send support to Ukraine', once clicked, the user will be directed to donate in support of war-affected Ukrainians.
Donations will be made to the International Rescue Committee, Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP), and the United Nations Refugee Agency.
"Here on the Play Store our thoughts are with Ukraine. Whether it's providing medical care, shelter or supplies, these organizations are working hard to help those in need. We hope you can show your support too," Google wrote. us from 9to5google.
This donation can be made with traditional funds through billing on Google Play which can start from USD 5 or around IDR 71 thousand to USD 100.
Google confirms that there will be no other fee rebate which means 100% of the donation will go to the relevant organization.
In addition, Google Play Points can also be used to make donations where 50 Play Points are equivalent to USD 1, while 250 Play Points are equivalent to USD 5.
Users can make donations this way under the Play Points "Use" tab in the "Support a good cause" section at the very bottom of the page.
