Poco M4 5G is officially released, here are the specifications

After releasing the Poco M4 Pro 5G last November, now Poco has released the Poco M4 5G which is more affordable.

If the Pro variant uses the Dimensity 810 SoC, the Poco M4 5G is released using a lower SoC, namely Dimensity 700, as quoted by GSM Arena, Tuesday (3/5/2022).

Poco M4 5G runs MIUI 13 based on Android 12. There are two variants released, namely with 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB RAM/storage configurations. There is also a microSD slot that can accommodate cards up to 512GB.

The Dimensity 700 used will serve a 6.58-inch FHD + 90Hz screen, which is coated with Gorilla Glass 3 complete with a notch containing an 8MP camera. The LCD panel used supports adaptive refresh rate, which will adjust the refresh rate between 30Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz, depending on the content being displayed.

The back panel of the Poco M4 5G uses a display that Poco calls Hypnotic Swirl Design. There are also two rear cameras, a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

Other features include a fingerprint sensor on the power button, 3.5mm audio port, Hi-res audio certification, USB-C, and an IP52 rating. Meanwhile, the battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh with a maximum charging power of 18W and support for 5W reverse wired charging.

There are three color options available, and the phone will go on sale in India from 5 May. The price for the cheapest variant is USD 170 and the 6GB/128GB variant costs USD 195.

Currently, Poco has just released the Poco M4 Pro variant (not the 5G variant), to be precise at the end of March. The Poco M4 Pro uses the MediaTek Helio G96 brain, with a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED screen.

Poco M4 Pro is available in three color variants, namely Power Black, Cool Blue, and Poco Yellow.
