X Can Now Provide Context for Tweets With the Help of Grok

Last week, X began displaying the xAI logo more prominently in the app to further encourage the use of Grok's virtual assistant. Also introduced at the same time is a feature that explains the context of the tweets sent. We noticed that the xAI button would appear in the top right corner of the app only on certain tweets and this was done randomly.

When this button is pressed, Grok will provide the context of the tweet using a few short paragraphs. It also provides links to the source website to explain the context.

Based on our observations, Grok can provide context for tweets in English and Malay, even in the form of images. However, the answers provided are not always accurate. For example, the links to the source websites are often completely unrelated to the actual context of the tweet. We feel that from this point of view, ChatGPT, and Gemini are much better.
