Realme to Announce Collaboration with RICOH IMAGING – GT 8 Pro to Be the First Device

Realme will announce a long-term strategic collaboration with RICOH IMAGING in smartphone imaging technology. The collaboration will be officially announced on October 14 in Beijing and will be first introduced through the realme GT 8 Pro series.

The collaboration has been developed over four years and is considered one of the most comprehensive in mobile imaging, especially street photography. According to the Vice President of realme, it was sparked by the desire of today's young users who want more natural images. They also prefer to show their own unique style rather than produce photos that look the same as everyone else.

RICOH GR is known as an iconic camera with sharp image quality and good performance in street photography. According to Kazunobu Saiki, General Manager of RICOH IMAGING, both brands are targeting young creative users and intend to take the culture of street photography to a better level.

The GT 8 Pro will come with special features resulting from the R&D collaboration between realme and RICOH GR, including innovations in color algorithms, image tones, and an interface that resembles GR cameras. It also combines RICOH GR's 30-year heritage with realme's expertise to offer a more engaging photography experience.
