Emirates will provide Starlink internet service on all its aircraft starting this November with Boeing 777 before expanding to 232 aircraft by mid-2027. This service allows passengers to surf the internet smoothly throughout the flight.
The first aircraft to be fitted with this system is the Boeing 777-300ER with registration number A6-EPF and was displayed at the Dubai Airshow before entering commercial operation on 23 November 2025. Installation is also expected to be carried out at a rate of 14 aircraft per month while work on the A380 will begin in February 2026.
Each Boeing 777 will be fitted with two antennas while the A380 will have three antennas to ensure optimal coverage in all cabin classes. Meanwhile, live television via Starlink will also be offered by the end of this year starting on personal devices before being expanded to seat-back screens.
