The Redmi Turbo 5 Max was also introduced yesterday in China with the ‘Max’ branding that focuses on the large battery capacity. At the same time, it still maintains good internal hardware for daily performance.
The Redmi Turbo 5 Max comes with a 6.83-inch OLED screen that supports a resolution of 2772 x 1280 pixels (1.5K), a refresh rate of 120Hz and 3840Hz PWM technology with DC dual dimming. It is also the first device in the world to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chip.
To ensure optimal temperature control, this device uses a built-in 3D cooling system, while the new ‘Rampage Engine’ engine works to stabilize the performance of the CPU, GPU and DDR during intensive use. Memory options are offered up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM with 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.
In terms of battery life, the device is equipped with a Xiaomi ‘Jinshajiang’ battery with a capacity of 9,000mAh that can last up to 11 hours and 10 minutes of use. In addition, it supports 100W wired fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging for use with multiple devices.
The device’s camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor that supports OIS and EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide and video recording up to 4K 60fps. On the front, it is equipped with a 20MP selfie camera with support for 1080P/60FPS video recording. Other specifications include an in-screen 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K protection and infrared support for additional control.
