Apple Watch is more than just showing the time, notifications on your smartphone or receiving calls. Apple's smartwatch has saved the life of an elderly man.
The Boston Globe reported a man named Dan Pfau admitted to having a history of fainting.
He recounted that in the morning he fell to the floor and hit his head and bled profusely, although he managed to get up, he fell again.
Using his Apple Watch, Pfau sent a message to his wife who was downstairs, the wife immediately took her husband to the hospital.
As a result of hitting his head, this 70-year-old man received stitches for a wound on his forehead. Pfau said that he was admitted to the ICU due to a broken spine when he fell.
The doctor also said that luck was still on Pfau's side. Because he did not experience paralysis even though his spine was broken.
The funny thing is, Pfau did not like the design and appearance of the Apple Watch. He said that he has some regular watches that look better.
But considering that this was the second time the Apple Watch had saved his life, he also said it would be foolish not to wear it (the Apple Watch).
