Netflix Tests TikTok-Like Features For Kids

Netflix seems to be trying to attract users in various circles, after launching a game service on Android and on iOS, now they are currently testing new features aimed at children.

This feature is called 'Kids Clips' and is similar to TikTok or Instagram Reels. With this feature, Netflix will show short videos about trailers from their library of kid-friendly movies or TV shows.

As for the interface itself, the video will appear horizontally and will take over the entire screen. Unlike TikTok or Instagram Reels, which use a portrait format.

This feature will also limit their viewing time where children can only watch about 10 to 20 clips at a time.

The Kids Clips feature will join the previously launched Fast Laughs feature to highlight clips with comedic elements.

Both of these features have the same goal, namely to promote Netflix content by using the concept of short clips with funny and fun content.

This feature is currently still focused on the iOS version of the Netflix app and it is not yet known when it will be available for Android users.

It is planned that the Kids Clip feature will soon be launched starting for the US, Canada, Australia, Ireland and Latin America markets.
