Tinder wants its users to be able to experience the fun in its app. Through a new interactive feature, Tinder invites users to engage in an adventure.
This dating app features Swipe Night, a series that airs on the Tinder app, and users can join in on the story of the series.
Swipe Night, is part of Tinder's newest Explore feature which has been enjoyed by 20 million members. Tinder claims Swipe Night can increase the number of matches by 26%.
Well, this weekend, November 7, 2021, there will be another Swipe Night series with a new theme and storyline that all users can follow. Swipe Night: Killer Weekend will air at 18.00 WIB.
Like the first Swipe Night, participants will use Swipe, an iconic feature of Tinder, to choose how the story will unfold. Each episode requires the members to make more than 10 choices.
Each choice will take them down a different path during Swipe Night, providing them with clues or room to investigate as they move one step closer to solving the case.
From the point of view of first-person storytelling, Swipe Night: Killer Weekend places Tinder members as the main part of each episode, even they can also be suspects. Tinder members in 25 countries around the world can find Swipe Night: Killer Weekenda for 3 consecutive weeks in November in the Explore feature.
Every weekend, participants will be asked to choose their suspect and can then be paired via “Short Chat” with someone who chose a different suspect.
There, the members can talk about the scenes they saw, analyze clues they didn't see and solve mysteries together. This way, Tinder members will build fun interactions.
Swipe Night: Killer Weekend is directed by Sasie Sealy and stars a talented cast of rising Gen Z. Tinder boasts this feature as a breakthrough in their app.
"Swipe Night was our first major experiment to see if members wanted to do something more than Swipe, and the answer is yes," said Tinder VP of Product Kyle Miller, in a written statement.
"Swipe Night's evolution and wider experience on Tinder, allows members to have fun and lighten the mood more easily. We decided to introduce the mystery genre because it is a conversational catalyst and a unique opportunity for members to get to know their matches by working together. in solving crimes," he said.
