Winamp Ready to Comeback, Bring Big Change

In the era of the 2000s, Winamp became one of the most popular music players in the world before slowly sinking. Now after a long 'buried', Winamp will be revived into an online music streaming service.

Winamp management has even announced on its website Winamp.com, that they will make a major overhaul of the design from the logo to the interface changes.

"We are preparing the latest generation of Winamp. Not only updated, but also will be completely overhauled," wrote Winamp on its website.

Winamp itself has an iconic logo. If previously Winamp had a golden lightning logo this time based on the appearance on its website, it has been changed to an image of two slanted vertical lines arranged side by side but not parallel to the Winamp writing on the side.

Users of the latest version of Winamp will also be able to listen to music offline or online anywhere. Not only that, the content presented is not only songs, but also radio broadcasts to podcasts.

Interestingly, this latest generation of Winamp will also carry a music-based social media system that allows creators to make money from the platform.

Unfortunately, it has not been announced when this latest generation of Winamp will be released to the public, considering that it is still in beta, as reported by us from Republic Worlds.

However, users who want to get involved in beta testing of Winamp can register on this site. Users only need to enter their name and e-mail address.
