Huawei has released a folding screen cellphone again, but this time it has a clamshell design like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. A number of attractions are given, along with the specifications and prices of this device called the Huawei P50 Pocket.
When opened, the Huawei P50 Pocket offers a 6.9-inch stretch with a resolution of 2790 x 1188 pixels and a 21:9 ratio. The panel uses a 1.07 billion color OLED with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and 1440 Hz high frequency PWM dimming.
Huawei adopted a punch hole at the top center of the screen which houses a 10.7 MP selfie camera.
Turning to the outside, we see two circles like the back of the Huawei P50 series. It's just that the composition is different, consisting of a screen and a camera module.
Huawei made the outer screen in the shape of a sphere with a size of 1.04 inches. Not just the time, date and notification, users can install other widgets, selfie, answer the phone and other navigation.
Huawei P50 Pocket has three cameras on the outside. The main camera is 40 MP with a 26mm equivalent lens, coupled with a 13 MP ultra-wide camera and a 32 MP ultra-spectrum camera that promises to improve color rendering even in dark conditions.
When not folded the thickness is only 7.2 mm. Once folded the thickness is 15.2 mm. Its own weight is 190 grams.
Huawei uses multi-dimensional hinges reinforced with innovative materials. So that the P50 Pocket can be folded smoothly and does not display creasing in the fold area.
In terms of performance, Huawei has equipped this folding screen cellphone with the Snapdragon 888 4G chipset. There is a choice of 8/12 GB RAM, while the internal memory provided includes 256 GB and 512 GB.
Huawei P50 Pocket is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery and supports 40W fast charging. This cellphone has white, gold and white color options.
Currently, Huawei has only sold the P50 Pocket in China. The prices are as follows:
