SpaceX Prepares New Runway for Journey to Mars and the Moon

SpaceX is building the latest rocket launch platform as part of plans to travel to Mars and the Moon in January or February.

The builders of the runway are located at Launch Complex 39A, Florida which is part of the Kennedy Space Research Center owned by the United States Aviation and Space Agency (NASA). Elon Musk himself has announced the news of the construction of the foundation through his personal Twitter account.

"Construction of the Starship orbital launch pad in the Cape has begun," Musk said.

Musk also conveyed 39A is a sacred space flight venue. According to him, there is no more suitable place for the Starship launch pad.

"We will have a similar system and ground tower, but upgraded to Starbase," Musk said.

Quoted from Republic World, SpaceX has also used a rocket launch complex at the Kennedy Center in 2019 for the Starship base, but no other construction work has been done since then. Today, the Starship spacecraft manufacturing and testing process is based at Starbase, a SpaceX -owned facility located in South Texas.

The site has been a test base for prototype rockets and spacecraft over the past few years with the highest launch record of just 12.5 kilometers.

Musk also said that SpaceX also plans to launch another space rocket at Starbase in January or February.

SpaceX has also signed a 20 -year lease agreement with NASA that allows the company to use the Pad 39A done in 2014 ago.

SpaceX itself has also launched Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets from the launch facility. However, SpaceX mentions that Starship is still

need some new infrastructure.
