Until now, there has been no strong evidence that shows human interaction with aliens. Nevertheless, there are still many who are trying to get us to meet or simply communicate remotely with aliens.
There are a number of credible theories as to the reason why we haven't heard from our extraterrestrial neighbours. Quoting from Intelligencer, here are some possibilities we have never met aliens.
1. Aliens are gone
Maybe we have never met aliens because aliens are gone. The universe is estimated to be 13.78 billion years old, there could be civilizations that have lasted long before the Earth was filled with humans and are now extinct.
2. Aliens are sleeping?
Aliens may not die but hibernate. It could be that the temperature is too high, the aliens decide to sleep until the temperature on their planet is habitable.
3. Aliens are hiding
The genius Stephen Hawking even feared that aliens could destroy human life. Therefore, instead of looking for aliens, we better hide. Well, maybe aliens also think like that, therefore we have never met aliens.
4. Aliens are still evolving
Maybe there are aliens out there, but they are not yet intelligent beings who can communicate. They are still in the stage of evolution. It could be, humans evolve the fastest compared to aliens.
5. Aliens are less sought after
There have only been adequate tools to search for aliens in the last half century. With the vastness of this universe, it takes a lot of time to explore all of its contents, so it's natural that aliens have not been found yet.
6. Aliens are here?!
Without realizing it, could aliens have been around us and blended in?! Or, new aliens come to a number of groups to reveal their identity? Of course this is just a wild theory.
