Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ Is Said To Have 10% Improved Performance And 30% More Efficient


 After almost half a year we saw the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip generate some flagship devices, there is no denying that this chip is the most powerful chip for Android devices. The warm -up issues that occur with the Snapdragon 888 no longer occur to the majority of devices, but only one or two models.


As we know, Qualcomm will come with a new chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ built by TSMC. The chip is expected to launch tomorrow, May 20 and possibly together with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.



The famous Digital Chat Station publisher recently revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ will remain with the 4nm build, but the performance capability is 10% more powerful. The chip is also said to save 30% power consumption and 30% more efficient.


The configuration of this chip is 1x 3.2GHz X2 + 3x 2.75GHz A710 + 4x 2.0GHz A51 and uses an Adreno 730 GPU chip.


Among the devices expected to use this chip are the Xiaomi 12 Ultra and several gaming devices. Together we look forward to tomorrow’s announcement and see what Qualcomm will reveal.
