Sending damaged electronic hardware to a store for repair is not a new concept, and typically for computer components and accessories in particular, customers will typically send the equipment back to the store purchased for repair or exchange.
Cooler Master today opened their first service center in Petaling Jaya to be operated by SCX Solutions Sdn Bhd, which will also house a service center and RMA for computer hardware brands carried by Sun Cycle and Connectex Sdn Bhd.
To facilitate the service registration process and RMA of Cooler Master components and accessories, an application called Carex has been developed to allow users to enter the details of the product to be repaired or replaced and send the product to this service center via delivery service or send the product to this service center.
The Cooler Master service center also has an Experience Zone where visitors can view and try out the brand's various offerings while waiting for their products to be repaired and tested.
Apart from the Cooler Master service center, SCX Solutions also said that they will open two more service centers in Penang and Johor in the fourth quarter of this year, and another in Sarawak next year.
The service center is located in Petaling Jaya and is open every day of the week, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, and any inquiries can be made by calling the telephone number 010-210 7726 via voice call or WhatsApp messaging.
