Have you been with Mi Pad? It was a Xiaomi Android tablet at one time that didn’t get much attention and didn’t have good software support. For the Mi Pad 2, Xiaomi offers Android as well as Windows options. Now with their tablet changed to Xiaomi Pad, they are trying once again to impress people using their tablet.
Recently, Xiaomi wants to try to offer a Windows tablet again. It is a Xiaomi Book S 12.4 ″ running Windows 11 version of ARM and powered by Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processing chip with. The screen of this tablet is 12.4-inches in size and is from an LCD panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600, 100% sRGB and has a brightness of 500 nits.
Xiaomi also only offers a choice of 8GB of RAM memory and 256GB of internal storage, having a 13MP camera on the back and 5MP on the front. The tablet also has a Qualcomm Aqstic microphone that can cancel out noise, stereo speakers, has a USB-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD card slot.
The Xiaomi Book S 12.4 ″ also supports the Xiaomi Smart Pen and Xiaomi Smart Keyboard stylus like Microsoft Surface. For the battery it has a size of 38Whr which promises durability of up to 13 hours.
The tablet is sold in the European and German markets at a price of € 699 which is around RM3230 with the stylus and keyboard sold separately. The Xiaomi Book S is arguably the more affordable alternative to the Surface Pro X.
