In Android 12, Google included a first mode feature called Game Dashboard specifically for Pixel device users. It is a standalone Android launcher mod that is not built by device manufacturers like Game Launcher by Samsung, Game Turbo by Xiaomi, Shark Space by Black Shark and many more.
With the Game Dashboard it allows users to control the FPS count, take screenshots, record the screen, select profiles such as Performance, Standard or Battery Saver and continue to stream directly to YouTube directly through the browser.
Recently, Google stated that the Game Dashboard will no longer be an exclusive feature for the Pixel. Through the upcoming Google Play Services update on Android 13, this feature will be offered to select Android devices.
It is currently unclear which devices will receive it and when it will be offered. Sources state that the Pixel 6a is also up to today still unable to use this feature.
