Alienware is a gaming brand that is quite famous especially for their computer and screen offerings. Recently, Dell Malaysia has brought in two models of Alienware Gaming Monitor screens for the local market.
The two displays are the Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor and the Alienware 27 Gaming Monitor, two gaming screen displays that come with different designs, specifications and usage patterns.
Starting with the Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor, this screen display comes with a 24.5-inch IPS panel with Full HD resolution and a 360Hz refresh rate. It can display 99 percent of the sRGB color gamut and has a brightness value of 400 nits and comes with AMD FreeSync Premium display technology support.
In terms of design, the Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor display has a thin bezel and a smaller base to give more space on the table. It also comes with a large number of plugs such as HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, three USB 3.2 Type-A plugs to connect various types of devices directly to the display without having to use a connection on the computer.
The Alienware 27 Gaming Monitor uses a 27-inch TFT screen display with Full HD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate with the ability to display 99 percent of the sRGB color gamut and a brightness value of 350 nits. It also comes with support for AMD FreeSync Premium display technology as well as NVIDIA GSYNC which reduces the screen-tearing rate on the screen display.
The Alienware 27 Gaming Monitor features an aggressive gaming design that is typically featured on their other computer and display designs. It also comes with the same thin bezel display as the Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor, and while it also has the same HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 plugs, it comes with a USB 3.1 Type-A plug to connect their accessories.
The Alienware 25 and 27 Gaming Monitors are developed for e-sports purposes, and those who value high refresh rates more than resolution. This is quite useful for various types of e-sports games such as Dota 2, League of Legends, Counter-Strike Global Offensive, Valorant and so on.
