CIMB today introduced their new generation application, named CIMB OCTO. This application is seen to be a successor to the CIMBClicks application in the future, with an updated interface, as well as an array of features that make it easier for users.
On this application too, CIMB includes a featured QR scan feature, for QR payments at physical stores that are increasingly popular these days.
CIMB OCTO also makes it easy for users to view account balances without having to go through various different pages, including recent banking transactions.
CIMB says this is still an early version, and more features are expected to be added to the app in the near future. In addition, users also need to maintain the use of the CIMBClicks application for the time being for SecureTAC verification. This application is expected to be fully launched by the first half of 2023.
For now, updates are done on the application side only. CIMB Octo can be downloaded on Android and iPhone starting today.
