In a Microsoft job search listing found by ZDNet, Microsoft is seen looking for a principal software engineer manager who will be tasked with a new marketing strategy for Windows, the development of low-budget computers through a subscription program with ads, as well as cloud hardware offerings for work and lifestyle.
Microsoft also mentioned involvement with Windows 365, suggesting they intend to come with affordable computers running Windows 365 with ads. In the future, it is very possible - we can see the presence of desktop computers or laptops that focus entirely on the cloud and are sold through subscriptions at an affordable price.
