LineageOS 20 Based on Android 13 Launches With Powerful Camera App

As a technology enthusiast, since my school days I like to experiment with Custom ROMs on Android devices because I want to test new Android versions or add interesting features that device manufacturers don't include.

But in recent times, Custom ROMs are no longer relevant as device manufacturers have added many interesting features and various customization capabilities have been provided. Not only that, the distribution of Android updates is also getting faster and update support is also getting longer so that some reach up to 4 years for Android versions such as Samsung and Oppo.

Recently, LineageOS 20 has been officially launched and it is built based on Android 13. Not only that, this version also comes with a powerful camera application that supports the CameraX API – where this camera application can use the features and functions that the device manufacturer includes such as portrait mode, night mode, OIS settings, and more GCam-like controls.

Security patch is December 2022, revamped Android 13 with more customization features, LineageOS 20 also supports Android TV and more. With the presence of this Custom ROM, devices that manufacturers have stopped updating can be updated again with new Android versions and the latest security patches.

So far there are over 50 officially supported devices. For example OnePlus 5/5T, OnePlus 6/6T, OnePlus 7/7T series, Razer Phone 2, Xiaomi Mi 8, Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, Mi MIX 2S, Poco F1, various Motorola devices and Pixel 4/5 and many more.
