Last month when Apple launched iOS 16.4 there was a code in it suggesting that they will launch a new TWS Beats which is Beats Studio Buds+. No clear details were revealed until recently when Amazon accidentally listed this product.
What's interesting about this Studio Buds+ is that this time it has a transparent design like Nothing Ear (2). Does this mean that Nothing succeeded in creating a trend for competitors to also follow their strategy?
Overall, the design of the Studio Buds+ is still more or less the same as the Studio Buds launched two years ago. Each earphone uses a short stem and the overall construction is plastic. This TWS is targeted for those who are active in sports and comfort and a more affordable alternative than AirPods Pro.
According to the Amazon listing, the Studio Buds+ will have up to 36 hours of battery life, a 3x larger microphone and a new cavity design to reduce pressure in the ear. This TWS will also have 1.6x more powerful active noise cancellation support and 2x better sound-through mode.
Like other Apple products, this TWS will also support the Find My search system. Then the source also mentions Hey Siri support, one-touch tethering, automatic tethering to other devices, spatial audio, better acoustics with clearer bass and a more immersive listening experience.
The leaked selling price is $169.95 which is around RM758. If true this is the final price it is around RM100 more expensive than the previous model.
