The process of using the WhatsApp Web version has now become easier through the new update provided. Through it users are allowed to link their WhatsApp account to the web version without having to scan a QR code. Instead, you can use the main phone number through a feature called 'Link With Phone Number'.
The new option is available to select beta users and will be rolled out more widely to other users in stages. It can also be accessed with a few simple steps, where users need to open WhatsApp web on the desktop device they want to link.
Then select the "Link With Phone Number" feature, after which the user will also be asked to enter a number to receive an 8 character code that needs to be entered into the WhatsApp application after receiving the notification.
This feature can be considered interesting, especially for users who have camera problems on devices that do not work to scan QR codes.
