Acer Aspire Vero 16 Comes With Intel Core Ultra And More Than 60% Of Our Materials Again

With the Aspire Vero two years ago, Acer offered a laptop made using recycled materials. At CES 2024, the Aspire Vero 16 was announced with improved specs and uses 60% recycled construction materials which is double the amount used on the original Vero.

It is equipped with a 16-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) 16:10 ratio screen with a model with a WUXGA screen but touch support. Chips up to Intel Core Ultra 7 are matched with 16GB LPDDR5 memory, storage up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD and a battery of up to 10.5 hours on a single charge. The keyboard is equipped with dedicated buttons for Copilot and it can also run built-in AI models thanks to the use of Intel Core Ultra series chips.

Not only is the body made from our recycled materials, the touchpads also use recycled OceanGlass glass. There are also two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 ports for additional accessory connections. Complementing the eco-friendly theme, the Vero 16's packaging is 100% recyclable after use. Acer Aspire Vero 16 (AV16-51P) will go on sale in March at a starting price of $750 (~RM3485) each.
