AORUS 17X And AORUS 16X Now Official – 240Hz Screen, GeForce RTX 4090 GPU

 


Gigabyte has launched the new AORUS 17X and AORUS 16X gaming laptops at CES 2024. Both come with 14th generation Intel Core chips along with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 series graphics cards.



It is also loaded with some of Gygabyte's latest technologies such as AI Nexus which is a control software aimed at increasing power and performance. Meanwhile, the WINDFORCE Infinity Cooling System is for more stable heat flow. There is also a Copilot hotkey button available on both.




The AORUS 17X features a 17.3″ QHD screen with a resolution of 2560 X 1440 pixels and a 240Hz refresh rate. The display also receives Pantone recognition and TÜV Rheinland certification which is useful for long-term use. Intel Core i9-14900HX CPU options and GPUs up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 are used as the mainstay. Followed by a combination of 32 GB DDR5 memory and 2TB PCIe Gen4 storage.




AORUS 16X is equipped with a 16-inch WQXGA screen (2560 X 1600 pixels) with a refresh rate of 165Hz and an aspect ratio of 16:9. Followed by Intel-Core i9-14900HX, Intel-Core i7-14650HX and Intel-Core i7-13650H CPU options. In addition to the GeForce RTX 4070/RTX 4060 GPU option with 32 GB DDR5 memory and 2TB PCIe Gen4 storage.


A wide selection of ports is provided which includes Thunderbolt 4.0 port, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port, Ethernet, audio jack, HDMI 2.1 and mini DP. Both also support 99Wh battery capacity. No sale price has been disclosed at this time.
