Intel Core i9-14900KS Breaks Records With 6.2GHz Turbo Boost Speed

Intel has just introduced their most powerful processing chip, the Intel Core i9-14900KS which comes with a Turbo Boost speed of 6.2GHz. This processing chip is their latest KS series processing chip which is seen with the greatest processing power in the Raptor Lake-R series, and will benefit a wide variety of users from those who want the greatest processing power for gaming as well as work.

This processing chip comes with an 8+16 core configuration, where it has eight Performance cores with Hyper-Threading and 16 Efficiency cores that are efficient in power consumption. The 6.2GHz speed can be shown through the Performance cores through the Turbo Boost feature and before it is manually overclocked.

This is a 200MHz improvement over the 6GHz Turbo Boost speed shown on the Intel Core i9-14900K processor chip, and is reportedly likely to be the last Raptor Lake processor chip that Intel will show. This series of processing chips is also built using the Intel 7 (10nm) process, which will be replaced by a new processing chip built using the Intel 4 (7nm) process.

Just like the previous Intel Core i9-14900K, this processing chip can be used with Intel Z690 and Intel Z790 series motherboards and supports DDR4 and DDR5 dual-channel memory configurations depending on the motherboard used.

This processing chip has already been introduced in selected markets first at a price of $698. We have asked Intel Malaysia to confirm when this CPU will enter the local market.
