One of the latest features shown on the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system is the CoPilot AI system developed using GPT artificial intelligence technology by OpenAI. At the end of last year, it was revealed that Microsoft would ask laptop manufacturers to introduce a dedicated Microsoft CoPilot button to allow users to access the feature more easily.
At the Lenovo Innovate '24 event, Lenovo announced that all their laptops that use Intel Meteor Lake processing chips (from Intel Core Ultra 5 to Core Ultra 9) will come with the key, including the Lenovo Yoga and Lenovo Legion series of laptops that introduced today.
In short, this key will replace the Winkey key on the left side of the keyboard where it will open the CoPilot menu, replacing the Start Menu activation. Microsoft says that this will help users more easily access the feature compared to using keyboard shortcuts that require them to press more than one button.
It is expected that this will be followed by other laptop maker brands that use Intel Meteor Lake processing chips and also the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system that will be launched later this year.
