Honor 200 and 200 Pro Launched With Snapdragon 8s Gen 3



The Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro were officially launched in China yesterday with it being another series with a focus on flagship level photography capabilities. First up is the Honor 200 Pro with a 6.7″ OLED 120Hz screen, powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, up to 16GB RAM memory, up to 1TB storage and a 5200 mAh battery with 100W fast charging.



The 200 Pro's main camera consists of a 50MP 1/1.3″ Omnivision OV50H OIS wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle and a 50MP IMX856 OIS telephoto. Meanwhile, there is also a 50MP selfie camera on the front. The main sensor on the 200 Pro is the same sensor as the Honor Magic6 Pro.



The Honor 200 is equipped with a 6.7" OLED 120Hz screen but is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, memory up to 16GB RAM, storage up to 512GB and a 5200 mAh battery with 100W fast charging.


The 200 Pro's main camera consists of a 50MP 1/1.56” IMX906 OIS wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle and a 50MP IMX856 OIS telephoto. Meanwhile, there is also a 50MP selfie camera on the front. The main sensor on the 200 Pro is the same sensor as the Honor Magic6 Pro.



The operating system used is MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. An interesting feature of the Honor 200 series is AI trained using images from Studio Harcourt. Portrait photos taken using the device's camera can emulate the iconic portrait style of this Paris-based studio. Both of these devices will be launched in Malaysia this June.
