The Infinix GT 20 Pro was finally officially launched in Malaysia today. The device is a follow-up to last year's Infinix GT 10 Pro which was also marketed as an affordable flagship phone. Then given an interesting upgrade for various aspects including design and internal hardware.
Through it this device still maintains the Cyber Mecha design with customizable RGB lighting. It supports up to eight color type combinations along with four lighting (Breath/Meteor/Rhythm/Gradient) settings. For example, incoming calls, notifications, charging and audio playback. A total of three color options can be chosen such as Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange and Mecha Silver.
As for the specifications, the device uses a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. This is also combined with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chip, 12GB RAM memory (LPDDR5X) and 256GB internal storage (UFS 3.1) for the mainstay. The camera setup consists of 108MP OIS (main) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (macro) on the back followed by a 32MP selfie camera.
The included 5,000mAh battery can be charged via USB-C port and 45W fast charging. Other specs include an in-screen fingerprint scanner, JBL stereo speakers, NFC, IP54 waterproofing and running XOS14 (based on Android 14). Infinix also promises two years of system updates and three years of security patches on this device.
For those interested, the Infinix GT 20 Pro is sold in Malaysia at RM1,299 with a gift in the form of a GT Pro Gaming Kit (GT Mecha Case, GT Cooling Fan & GT Finger Sleeves) given free of charge. Availability is through authorized Infinix distributors throughout Malaysia either online or offline.
