Koss is an audio brand with its own history. Their iconic Porta Pro model was introduced in 1984, and now, Koss seems to be celebrating the 40th anniversary of this model by introducing the Koss Porta Pro Wireless with some improvements compared to the previous Porta Pro model.
In terms of design, the Porta Pro Wireless comes with the same iconic rectangular design as before. The most significant difference is in terms of the headband which is now seen using two pieces of metal compared to one before.
What is unique about this design is that it also holds the components that receive and transmit audio signals allowing Koss to maintain their iconic design. It also retains their unique foldable design that makes it easy to carry anywhere.
In terms of wireless connectivity, this Koss Porta Pro Wireless comes with support for Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity that allows it to connect to devices faster and consume less battery power.
Speaking of battery, Koss says that the Porta Pro Wireless comes with a total of 20 hours of use on a single full charge, and what's interesting here is that it also comes with a USB Type-C to 3.5mm audio cable to allow users to use phones. These ears are wired and do not need to rely on batteries.
The side of this earphone also comes with a touch surface that allows the user to scroll various audio settings such as play, pause, answer calls, scroll audio volume and so on.
Koss says that the Porta Pro Wireless earphones are already on the global market, and can be purchased through their website. The local market price is also shown, and can be purchased as an import at a price of RM431 according to their website.
