Honor Malaysia has announced that the new MagicOS 9.0 launcher update will be available for select flagships starting mid-December. The selected ones include the Honor Magic6 Pro, Magic6 RSR, Magic V2, Magic V2 RSR and Magic V3. Users can download and install the new software update via the device’s main settings.
Like most other recent launchers, the first leap in MagicOS 9.0 software focuses on artificial intelligence (AI) technology. However, it is not surprising, and the use of AI technology is also important to improve productivity efficiency and change the smartphone landscape in line with industry progress which is considered a balanced process.
Among the improvements provided through MagicOS 9.0 is Magic Portal 2.0 – Circle to Anything which offers a more user-friendly experience. Through this new Circle to Anything feature, users only need to circle an object or text then swipe it to the edge of the screen to access any supported application instantly.
Next is Magic Avatar which allows users to create their own virtual avatars and then coordinate with status and respond interactively. AI Notes Summarize can summarize long articles into important content automatically, in addition there is AI Translation which supports up to 11 languages including Bahasa Malaysia. Thus helping users understand various main ideas and translations quickly and easily.
As usual there is no exact date stated but at least it can be used as a reference about eligible devices and when the update will be received.
