Microsoft Updates Windows Hello Sign-in System Usage Experience

Windows Hello is a login technology made by Microsoft that allows users to log into their computer without having to enter a password, and use a face scan or fingerprint.

Last year, they introduced the Passkey feature that allows users to log into websites and digital services on computers using Windows Hello login technology. Recently, with the latest update to the Windows Insider Program, Microsoft has introduced new updates to Windows Hello and also the Passkey feature.

Through the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.4440 (KB5045889) update, the login menu using Windows Hello will now appear with different icons that directly show the login options you can choose, whether it is through a face scan, a fingerprint scan, pin numbers, using physical accessories and so on.

As for the Passkey feature, Microsoft seems to have started to introduce the ability to change the Passkey account which is easier and safer, and will be implemented not only on the website, but also on the Microsoft Store.

For IT administrators who tightly control these features, this update will also include permissions set by them, and can be deactivated through company policy.
