Meta is now reported to have held discussions with Runway AI regarding the probability or potential for acquisition. It is said that Meta has discussed the probability of this acquisition before investing in Scale AI.
Runway AI is one of the artificial intelligence companies that focuses on video production. A number of parties are ready to use Runway, and the generated results are also quite good.
For now, it is said that the discussions have not been continued by both parties. However, this new report shows that Mark Zuckerberg is quite aggressive in acquiring AI companies or trying to get talents and expertise in AI to continue to drive the development of Meta AI.
