The Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 was also launched in China last night and it is a flip device that is not only equipped with a flagship chip but also comes with Leica lenses and a large battery size. The MIX Flip 2 comes with a 6.86″ AMOLED foldable screen and a 4.01″ AMOLED outer screen, both of which support a 120Hz refresh rate and can display Dolby Vision content.
It is paired with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage and a 5165 mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. This is an increase compared to the 4,780 mAh used in last year’s MIX Flip.
The main camera consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, a 32MP sensor is used for the selfie camera. The main camera uses a Leica Summilux lens and the camera app has several special modes with Leica filters. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the side while there is also stereo audio, an infrared emitter and a dual cooling chamber.
The device uses the HyperOS 2 operating system based on Android 15. Among the features included are AI editing capabilities and optimization up to 500 applications can be used on the external screen. Due to the large external screen, a full-size keyboard can be used on this screen. Since it is a Xiaomi device too, there is support for the SU7 and YU7 electric car ecosystems.
The Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 is launched in eight color options. The selling price of the device is as follows.
