As promised, Xiaomi YU7 was launched as their first EV SUV yesterday and like SU7 comes with high performance. Three models are offered, namely Xiaomi YU7, Xiaomi YU7 Pro and Xiaomi YU7 Max.
The front design is similar to SU7 with an aerodynamic front hood and lights that make a "face" like a shark. Elongated brake lights are used on the entire rear as if it were a hybrid of the Dodge Charger and Aston Martin designs. For self-driving needs, the NVIDIA Drive AGX Thor computer system is the brain of the PU7 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is used to control the vehicle's infotainment system.
Xiaomi YU7 is the most basic model equipped with only a 235 kilowatt (320 HP) rear wheel motor, 528 Nm of torque and a maximum speed of 240 km/h. The vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 in 5.88 seconds
The Xiaomi YU7 Pro is a dual-motor AWD model with 365 kW (496 HP), 690 Nm of torque and a top speed of 240 km/h. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.27 seconds.
Finally, the YU7 Max is also a dual-motor AWD model with 508 kW (690 HP), 866 Nm of torque and a top speed of 253 km/h. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.23 seconds.
The YU7 and YU7 Pro both come with a 96.3 kWh LPF battery that supports an 800V charging platform. This gives the YU7 a range of up to 835 km CLTC and 770 km CLTC for the YU7 Pro. The YU7 Max is equipped with a 101.7 kWh NMC battery pack with a range of 760 km CLTC. With DC fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10-80% in 21 minutes.
The main driving display is a 1.1-meter-wide HyperVision screen that is placed lengthwise at the bottom of the windshield. It consists of three Mini-LED screens combined. The center console includes a main control screen with two more screens placed behind the front seats and another screen in the middle for passenger control. There is a built-in refrigerator and also an 80W wireless charger built into the center console.
