The new Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar has officially entered the Malaysian market. Designed specifically for outdoor activities, this model offers enhanced durability, solar energy support, and smart features tailored for active lifestyles and extreme sports.
A key highlight of this watch is its "Dual-Sided Solar Charging" technology—a world-first for an AMOLED smartwatch. It absorbs solar energy through both the front screen and the back panel, allowing the battery to last up to 51 days with daily sun exposure. Its rugged design features a Grade 5 titanium bezel and a sapphire crystal display; it has also passed military-grade testing, proving its ability to withstand extreme temperatures as low as -30°C.
The watch also offers standalone navigation—no phone required—complete with full-color maps and an "Auto-Rerouting" feature. It is water-resistant up to 100 meters, supports over 180 sports modes, and integrates with platforms like Strava and TrainingPeaks. The Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar will be available for purchase in Malaysia starting October 23, 2026, for RM2,799. It can be bought via the official Amazfit website or through retail partners including Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok. To mark the launch, those who purchase through the official website will receive a complimentary camping tent (valued at RM499), while purchases made via Shopee, Lazada, or TikTok will come with a free Decathlon backpack.
