Zelos Delivery Robot Now Being Tested on Cyberjaya Roads – Bearing License Plate ROBOVAN-01

Earlier this year, Autonomous Logistic Solutions Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with Pos Malaysia, began deploying the Zelos delivery robot—capable of transporting bulk and large-sized items—within the confined premises of the National Mail Centre. Today, it was announced that the Zelos robot will be deployed on the roads around Cyberjaya, marking its entry onto public thoroughfares.

This Level 4 autonomous delivery robot has an operating range of 210 km. Its battery supports DC fast charging in as little as 3 hours, or AC charging in approximately 5–7 hours. It is capable of carrying a payload of up to 1,500 kg within a 10-square-meter cargo space and can reach a maximum speed of 55 km/h.

Moving forward, the Zelos delivery robot will operate along a 22 km stretch of road in Cyberjaya, specifically designated as a testing ground for autonomous vehicles. Over the course of this 6-month trial, the robot will collect essential data before its operations are potentially expanded to other areas. Furthermore, the license plate used—ROBOVAN-01—is a valid, officially authorized registration, having received approval from the Ministry of Transport, the Road Transport Department (JPJ), SPAD, the Ministry of Digital, and Futurise.

With this announcement, the ROBOVAN will soon be seen operating in Cyberjaya, facilitating the transport of bulk goods between warehouses, distribution hubs, industrial zones, and various other locations.
