Windows 11 BSOD Screen No Longer Blue and Has a New Look

BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) is a screen that is displayed on the Windows operating system when it encounters a technical problem. Starting with Windows 8, the design of its display interface has been given a new lease of life, in addition to Microsoft also providing more information, including the integration of QR codes to check for technical problems related to it.

In 2021, the BSOD color was changed back to blue after it was changed to black in Window 8. The latest update, the BSOD screen has been changed again and it now uses a black background. There is no longer a QR code or sad face emoji.

Only a message about what damage has occurred and the damage code are displayed at the bottom of the screen to make it easier for users or company IT operators to resolve the issue. The new BSOD screen is more similar to the screen displayed when the operating system is being updated.
