Instagram and TikTok Are Developing TV-Friendly Apps

Today, one of the applications that has successfully offered for TV screens is YouTube. Many have installed it on their smart televisions, and at the same time enjoy content from YouTube directly in their living rooms.

Now, in addition to YouTube, Instagram and TikTok are also reportedly targeting TV screens. As many are aware, Instagram and TikTok are ready to focus on offering videos through their respective platforms, and now also want to be the main destination when users gather in their living rooms.

However, among the problems that are expected to be the main challenges is in terms of the type of content offered. Instagram and TikTok are ready to focus on content vertically, unlike YouTube which offers content horizontally according to TV screens.

In addition, for Meta, which manages Instagram, this will be the second time they have focused on offering on television. Previously, Facebook Videos was offered for television, but did not receive high demand.

At the same time, apart from TikTok and Instagram, another party that is also targeting television is X, which has also made a large investment through X Videos for original content on the platform.
