Proton and Touch n Go today announced a collaboration, whereby through this agreement, every new Proton X50 car sold will come with a built-in RFID Touch ’n Go tag at the production line. With this move, consumers can activate the RFID Touch ’n Go tag directly when driving their new car out of the showroom.
Proton said that so far 2000 units of the new Proton X50 have been delivered to customers, and the RFID Touch ’n Go tag is built-in on all variants of the vehicle.
In addition to the Proton X50, it is also seen that there is potential to expand the collaboration to cover other models, making them all come with built-in RFID Touch ’n Go technology. Proton aims to provide more convenience and satisfaction to customers than before.
