Agroz Robotics Uses Humanoid Robots in the Agriculture Sector in Malaysia

Local company Agroz Inc. launched the Agroz Robotics program in collaboration with UBTECH Robotics to use humanoid robots in the Malaysian agriculture sector. The UBTECH Walker S robot is used by Agroz Robotics to perform tasks such as sowing, monitoring, harvesting, and optimizing crop processes in Agroz's vertical farming farms.

Through the use of the Walker S robot, Agroz hopes that agricultural farm productivity will be competitive and reduce dependence on human labor. Therefore, Agroz will be able to use modular robotic solutions tailored for vertical farms, smart greenhouses, and hybrid facilities throughout Southeast Asia.

This innovation is in line with Malaysia's vision for sustainable food security. They hope to expand this robotic farming system throughout Southeast Asia to accelerate the global transition towards a smart, sustainable, and climate-resilient food system.
