Meta is now reportedly considering reducing the budget and number of employees for the metamesta division. If implemented, it may reduce the total budget for the division by up to 30%, thus impacting the Quest device and Meta Horizon Worlds.
Meta has previously invested heavily in the development of metamesta, and has even rebranded their company as Meta. However, this arena has not received much attention, but the artificial intelligence arena has become a major focus in recent years.
