X is ready to introduce an update to the messaging service built into the social media, allowing users to do more than just send texts – including sharing files, photos and more. Not only that, now X is also introducing a dedicated web application for desktop users to access the messaging service.
Through the X Chat web, users can use the messaging service completely without the disruption of social media integration. The interface offered is more or less like WhatsApp or Telegram, making it easy for you to focus on messaging without other distractions.
For now, this feature is introduced for desktop users only. It is not yet known when the same support will be extended to mobile users. According to previous rumors, X is also said to be preparing a separate messaging application to compete with WhatsApp.
