2025 is the year that portable PC consoles will flood the market with a variety of high-graphics video games that can now be played anywhere. On iOS, support for AAA PC level games has been offered for over two years and on Android we were told it would arrive but it was still just a promise.
The Realme Neo 8, which will be launched on January 22, will finally realize this dream with the PC Handheld Gaming Mode feature. Clear information about this mode is still unknown but the image shows that users can access the Steam store and then install the game before running it on the Neo 8.
Realme also said that more than 50 popular PC game titles have been confirmed to be playable on the Neo 8. Among the big names mentioned are Hollow Knight: Silksong, Dave the Diver, and Tomb Raider. Games can still be played on this gaming device even without an internet connection. Among the accessories that will be offered are physical controllers.
In terms of specifications, the Realme Neo 8 will be equipped with a 6.78″ AMOLED 165Hz screen, powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 1TB of fast UFS 4.1 storage and an 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The 50MP wide-angle camera is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP telephoto lens and a 16MP selfie camera.
