The DJI Avata 360 drone has been launched, which is a drone that can not only record 360 videos at up to 8K 60FPS. The camera is equipped with a 1″ sensor with a pixel size of 2.4 μm that can record images at 120MP settings.
In single-lens mode, 4K 60FPS video recording is possible while DJI’s O4+ system allows for video streaming at 1080p 60FPS settings up to 20km from the pilot. The camera lens can be replaced with 42GB of built-in storage, which is enough for 30 minutes of 8K 360° recording.
The drone’s battery, however, only allows for a flight time of up to 23 minutes. Like all DJI drones, various systems and sensors help it fly to avoid collisions during use. The drone’s propellers are also protected from side impacts.
The DJI Avatar 360 is compatible with RC2, RC‑N2, RC‑N3 and RC Motion 3 controllers for more acrobatic flight. In Malaysia, pre-orders have been open since yesterday until April 8. The selling price is as follows. The difference between the two packages is that the Fly More Combo comes with an additional battery charging bag and dock.
DJI Avatar 360 RC2 – RM2599
DJI Avatar 360 Fly More Combo – RM3259
