If the public knows about the highway toll discounts given in conjunction with Hari Raya, the attraction for EV users is also no exception through charging discounts. If in previous years various charging companies announced their promotions for several weeks, this year sees TNB Electron present with a month-long charging discount promotion.
Starting from 17 March until 16 April 2026, TNB Electron is offering a discount of 25% per kWh for all their electric car chargers throughout Malaysia. This offer is limited to chargers that use per kWh calculation, so for TNB Electron chargers that still use per minute calculation, no discount will be given. You can use two ways to pay for it, via debit and credit cards, or using the Go To-U application to activate the charger.
With the addition of new TNB Elektron charging locations such as in Kangar, Tanjung Rambutan, Jeli, Muadzam Shah, Kuala Selangor, Taiping and many more, you can certainly celebrate Raya everywhere without any charging hassle.
